
After you log into Gold Slam you will come to the Server Select menu. Here you will pick the server you want to play on. (There is only one server on this list but after the game goes live there will be more to choose from)

1A) In the highlighted field above is what one of the servers will look like. Server 01 states that it is a "Novice Stadium Server" and it also shows how full/stable the server is. If you want to select a server you move your mouse over it and left click, then move your mouse to the "Enter Server" button at the bottom of the window.

1B) In the field next to the server list you will find the Announcements which will contain important messages for Gold Slam, such as patch information.

1C) Here at the bottom of the server window are two buttons. One button is the "Server Refresh" button so you can see the status of the server. The other button is the "Enter Server" button mentioned in 1A. Once you have selected your server, mouse over the "Enter Server" button and left click (buttons are in the highlighted field).

1D) In the highlighted fields above you will see the scrolling message field and the "Quit Game" button. The scrolling message field will have announcements that change daily.

1E) After you choose your server you pick a channel in which you will be playing in. You can choose between channels 1-10 and see the status of each channel.

1F) In the highlighted areas above are the channel names and what its status is (light, medium, heavy, or full)

1G) At the bottom of the "Select Channel" window, in the highlighted area, are two buttons. These buttons are "Enter Channel" which allows you to enter the channel you selected by clicking on it with the left mouse button and "Cancel" which brings you back to the Select Server window.

1H) To select a channel, move your mouse over the intended channel and left click on it. After you do this, move your mouse over the "Enter Channel" button at the bottom of the window and left click on it. This will bring you into that channel where can begin to play.

Here is the Player’s Lounge window. From this window you will be able to access all the options in the game. Also here you can check on players and their status and even your own status. There is chat avaliable in this window

2A) The tabs in the highlighted area above are your means of looking for players to play against or with. You have two tabs “All Players” on the right and “All Club Members” on the left. The tab on the right allows you to see all players on this server and their information while the tab on the left will show you all the members in your tennis club.

2B) In the highlighted area above are your window navigation buttons. These buttons allow you to move from the Player’s Lounge to the other major windows in the game. There are 4 buttons in total “Player’s Lounge”, “My Room”, “Character Shop” and “Item Shop”.

2C) Here at the bottom of the window, there are three buttons (in the highlighted area) which are “Send Message”, “Options” and “Quit Game”. "Send Message" allows you to send a private message to another player in game. "Options" allows you to enter the game options where you can adjust them to your liking. And "Quit Game" acts just like the other quit game buttons.

2D) In the highlighted area above is another way to choose a channel after the "Select Channel" window. Here you can change what channel you are in without having to go back to the Select Server window.

2E) Here in this highlighted area is your chat window. You can talk to everyone in the Player’s Lounge on this server from here. You can also use the “Send Message” button to send a private message to another player.

2F) When you select the “Send Message” button in the chat window this is the window that pops up. Here you can see your friends list and check your received messages and send messages yourself.

2G) In the highlighted area above is where the current Matches are and Available players. Here it tells you the match/player name and their status. For Matches you get the name, game type, who started the match, what level it is, what club it’s a part of and how many players are in that match. When using the All Players filter you get the player name, the character the player is using, their level and what club they belong to.

2H) Here is your Player Profile. It tells you your basic stats, what character you are currently using and what rank you are. It also tells you how many singles matches you’ve won/lost, doubles you’ve won/lost, how many total you won/lost, how much you have won in prize money and your percentage of wins.

2G) In this highlighted area are six buttons. From left to right they read “Tutorial Game” where you can practice the basics of playing Gold Slam, “Exit” which will take you back to the server select menu, “Create a match” where you can make a match with your own specifications, “Quick Start Singles” which auto picks a single match with its rules, “Quick Start Doubles” which auto picks a double match with its rules, and “Join Tag Match” where you can join a tab match that has been already created.

Here is the My Room window where you can check on items you own, stats and your characters.

3A) In this highlighted area is your character stats which are Shot Power, Control, Footwork and Concentration. It tells you how many points you have in each and how many are being added by items. Green is your base stats which is what the character has when you buy them and the red indicates how much is being added by items.

3B) Here is your character changer; from here you can change what character you are going to be using. There are two buttons at the bottom that read “Select Character” and “Cancel All”. "Select Character" is pretty simple, you use the arrows on the side of the small window to cycle through characters and when you find the one you want to use you hit the "Select Character" button. "Cancel All" unequips all items on a selected character.

3C) Here it shows you what your character avatar looks like and gives its name and type.

3D) In this window you can cycle through the items that you own which consist of four categories, “Racquets”, “Uniforms”, “Shoes” and “Style”. In the window below these tabs is where your items will show up. It shows a picture of the item, says its name, what stat it boost and by how much, and how long you own the item.

3E) At the bottom of this window is where it tells you how much holding GP you have. GP is your points which you can use to buy character or items for characters.

This is the window where you can buy characters. Here it will tell you everything you need to know about the character before you buy it.

4A) In this highlighted area it tells you what the character stats are, which are based on the character type.

4B) Here is your character avatar and its name. Below this there is a window with a button to buy the selected character.

4C) In this highlighted area it will show you the characters personal status and a picture of said character. The personal stats are Country, Date of Birth, Height, Weight and which hand is their primary.

4D) In this area it tells you the character's playing style.

Here is the Item Show window where you can buy items for your characters. There are two major filters which are “GOLDSLAM” and “ADIDAS”. After that you have four minor filter which are “Racquets”, “Uniform”, “Shoes” and “Style”.

5A) In this window you can check on item stats. It shows the item name, what stat and the amount it boosts it by, how much it costs and how long you get it for. Racquets are the only items that are permanent at the moment.

5B) After you click the buy button you get this window, the Purchase Confirmation. Here it gives you a picture of the item, its item type, how long you are buying it for, how much money it costs and the amount of GP you have left after purchase. At the bottom you have two buttons, “Confirm” and “Cancel”.

Back in the Player’s Lounge you have the “Create a Match” button. When you left click on this it will bring up this menu. From here you get to set the match name, password, match type (normal or friendship), singles, doubles or tag. (Friendship matches give you money only, you cannot gain xp in this type) At the bottom of this window you have two buttons which are “Confirm” and “Cancel”.

This is the game lobby window. Here it will show you who is in the game, what character they are playing, and give you a chance to change the match rules.

7A) Here is the button you use to exit the game lobby.

7B) This is the button you use to start the match. After you click this button, everyone else has 10 seconds to hit start or they get kicked back to the Player’s Lounge.

7C) This button allows you to bring up a menu where you invite players to your match.

7D) This button allows you to bring up a list of spectators in your match, so you know who is watching your game.

7E) This is your chat window for the game lobby. Here you can chat with the players and spectators in your game lobby.

7F) To the left of the chat window are the game options. Here you can pick the court and change from singles, doubles or tag matches. You can also set how many wins a player needs to win the match.
